Principal's Message for June 5, 2008

Summer Wish List for Santa Rita Students
- You discover or rediscover a good friend or two and then spend long hours inventing and playing games; playing house or school; putting on plays or puppet shows; telling stories; giggling at silly jokes or just hanging out.
- The librarian at the library calls you by your first name and can’t help but remember the kinds of books that you love to read.
- You visit the zoo, some parks, a museum, and several places that you’ve never been to before.
- Your markers begin to run out, your crayon tips become blunt, your pencil becomes one inch long and you share all of your drawings and writing with those you love.
- You listen to lots of good music and you sing and dance joyfully.
- You cook or bake something yummy for your family and realize how to use your learning about fractions and measurement.
- You practice your swimming in a pool or the ocean and marvel at how good it feels to exercise your body.
- Students who will be attending Egan Jr. High or another school dream about the new and exciting experiences that await them (I’ll miss you!)
- You return to school on August 20 happy, healthy and ready to share a great adventure or two...read more.
