Principal's Message for May 21st, 2009

Thank you Volunteers – Coffee Cart Tomorrow!
As a school we are very appreciative of all of the time, care and energy that you give to Santa Rita. The Santa Rita PTA would like to take the opportunity to thank you for all you do! Please stop by the Coffee Cart located just inside the Staff Room between 8:30-10:00 for a cup of coffee. Thank you for all you do!
Student Council Service Project: Jump Rope for Heart
Our school is participating in a very special community service program to raise funds for the American Heart Association by taking part in Jump Rope For Heart on June 5th. (All students in grades first through sixth are invited to participate.) Our school goal is to raise $2000. We are asking students to donate what they can afford. Perhaps they can do some extra chores at home to earn some money to donate to the American Heart Association. If each student brought in $5.00, we would reach our goal. - Incoming kindergarten families...Mark your calendar
Join the summer kindergarten playgroups and make new friends before school starts. Then come meet teachers and tour the classrooms at the Kindergarten Lemonade Social on Tuesday, August 18th. See Fliers.

Come to the Kindergarten Parent meeting on June 3rd and learn how you can help your child tranisition to 1st grade. See Flier.

The Santa Rita teachers have published their recommended school supplies lists for the upcoming school year.
