Los Altos Education Foundation (LAEF)

Since 1982, LAEF has bridged the ever-increasing gap between state funding and the budget needed to implement top-quality curriculum in the six elementary and two middle schools of the Los Altos School District. LAEF relies on support each year from parents and the broader Los Altos community to provide our schools with quality enrichment programs and class size reduction.

Your support of LAEF provides science, technology, music, art, physical education and smaller Kindergarten classes. LAEF works closely with the Santa Rita Parent Teacher Association (PTA), funding grants that provide a direct benefit to Santa Rita School. Here are just a few ways your LAEF contributions are at work this school year:

Without your donations to LAEF, these vital programs would not exist. The suggested contribution to LAEF for 2006-2007 is $800 per student. However, a gift of any amount is important, as our goal is 100% participation by all Santa Rita families.
