Santa Rita PTA 2011-2012
Back to School Classroom Supply Program
Program Begins: August 2011
After looking at many options, the Santa Rita PTA has decided to stretch your dollars by buying in bulk and provide pre-purchased back to school classroom supplies for every student. This will eliminate the optional “School Toolbox” program in which 50% of Santa Rita families participated.
**This means that on the first day of school, each student will have all of the school supplies (such as pencils, markers, paper, glue, folders, binders, etc.) they need for the year on their desk.
YOU WILL NOT NEED TO BUY SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR YOUR CHILD!
In order to provide this service to Santa Rita parents, the PTA will fund the purchase of supplies over the summer. We ask that each family reimburse the PTA for the cost of the school supplies for each child attending Santa Rita. Payments will be collected in the on-line Back To School Packet in August. This is NOT a fundraiser for the school. The fees below reflect the cost for the items and do not make a profit for the PTA. We need all Santa Rita families to participate to make this program a success!
2011-2012 Per Student Reimbursement to PTA:
- Grades K-1: $20 per student
- Grades 2,3,4: $25 per student
- Grades 5-6: $45 per student
COST SAVINGS FROM PREVIOUS PROGRAM:
| Classroom Supply Costs for 2011-2012 |
Toolbox Costs for previous year 2010-2011 |
|
|---|---|---|
| Grades K-1 | $20 per student | $30-32 per student |
| Grades 2, 3, 4 | $25 per student | $33-42 per student |
