Science Fair
Each year students get to explore the worlds of science, engineering and mathematics in a relaxed an non-competitive atmosphere, with a chance to learn something about our world and to have fun while doing it. The fair is open to all Santa Rita students, grades K-6, and students may team up and do joint projects if they wish. Each presenter will get a special medal for their participation, and the projects will be viewed by the whole school. Parent volunteers will be on hand at the fair to discuss the projects with each of the students, and the presenters are free to check out all of the other projects on display at the fair. The fair is a fun event where families from all grades come together and spend a few hours learning about science.

Science Fair Volunteers Needed
The Santa Rita Science Fair is still looking for volunteers to help our students on the night of the fair. This is a great opportunity to get involved with the Santa Rita community and meet children and their families from all grade levels. We need adult volunteers to be judges at the fair. Judges will meet with the presenters at the fair, discuss the project with the presenter, and complete a small evaluation form. The judge role only requires a commitment of two hours, so it is a good way for people with limited time to help out their school. If you are interested in helping, please email Ray Milkey at ray.milkey *at* gmail.com.
