How: Please review the auction guidelines below. 

Please read the descriptions of all items carefully. The Auction Committee reserves the right to remove an item from the auction. We have endeavored to describe items correctly, but all items in the silent auction are offered “as is.” Santa Rita is in no way responsible for the correctness of the descriptions, authorship, genuineness, or condition of the items or properties. No statement given in the auction catalog or made elsewhere shall be deemed to be a warranty or an assumption of liability.

Santa Rita is not responsible for business or other failures beyond our control that may result in the loss or non-delivery of items purchased at the auction. Please plan to have one person pay for an item or items that may be shared. Also, if you bid for someone and they win, you are responsible for paying for their item(s) at the end of the auction. Finally, all experiences sold at the auction are to be undertaken at the sole risk of the purchaser.

Rules:

  • Enter your bid by printing your name and bid number on the appropriate monetary line posted on the bid sheet.
  • Please bring check or cash to the auction. Some items require payment to take item(s) home the evening of the auction (pumpkin picking & wine corner).
  • The minimum opening bid and automatic monetary increases are noted on each bid sheet.
  • Once a bid is entered, it may NOT be removed.
  • The winning bid(s) will be determined by the auction officials at the close of bidding.
  • The closing of the tables will be gradual, and this will be announced.
  • Once the tables are closed, the auction officials will gather bid sheets and note the highest bid.
  • All bids will be compiled onto a summary sheet for every person who bid.
  • All items must be paid for NO LATER than Friday, November 4th, 2011.

 

Single Winner Items:

  • Your bid must exceed the previous bid by the minimum increase amount to be considered a valid bid.
  • The highest valid bid at the close of the bidding is the winner of that item.

 

Item Pick Up: Items won will be available for pick-up during the first week of November.
