Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA)

Is your child struggling in school? A parent’s resource - "SELPA" stands for Special Education Local Plan Area, as it is defined by the state Office of Education. SELPA 1 includes all the public schools in the cities of Los Altos, Palo Alto, and Mountain View. "CAC" stands for Community Advisory Committee. Formed in 1994, the SELPA 1 CAC is a group of people — mostly parents of children with special needs along with district administrators and special education staff — who work on a wide range of issues related to special education - www.selpa1cac.org

Los Altos Special Education PTA (SEPTA)
