Hey there, Bobcats! I’m Ms. Cannon, and I started teaching in LASD in 2013. I taught two years of 3^rd grade (one at SR and one at Springer), and have been teaching 6^th grade at SR even since. I was born and raised in the Bay Area, and am so glad to be teaching here! I earned both my B.A. and teaching credential at Sonoma State University – go Seawolves! I completed my National Board Certification in 2018, a process designed to develop, retain and recognize accomplished teachers. When I'm not at school, I love getting outside for walks with Bennett (my pup), bike rides, and trips to the beach! If I have to be inside, I'll curl up with a book, do some yoga, or do some crafting. I am so proud to be a part of our Bobcat community!
