I have always loved working with children. Growing up in the bay area, I loved teaching elementary music classes as a side job during high school. For me, the best part of teaching is getting to see students collaborate with each other and be excited about learning. “All means all” is a saying at Los Altos School District. Every student does not just have one teacher, but many teachers working to help them reach their potential. I received my BA in Liberal Studies with a multiple subject teaching credential from Azusa Pacific University. I also obtained my masters degree in education with a reading specialist credential from Santa Clara University. I began teaching in the Los Altos School District 20+ years ago and have loved every moment since, teaching 1st grade, 3rd grade, and currently 2nd. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two girls. We love reading, swimming, and biking around our neighborhood.
