Since I was young, I have always wanted to be a teacher. I enjoy being someone that my students can count on to help them academically, socially, and emotionally. I am originally from Palo Alto and attended Gunn High School. I graduated from UC Davis with a degree in history and English. Then, I received my credential and Master of Arts in education at San Jose State. I taught for 9 years in San Jose and started teaching 4th grade in 2013. I love all things 4th grade and I feel incredibly honored to be your child’s 4th grade teacher. I am looking forward to a year of growth, experience, exploration, and fun together. When not at school, you can find me with my husband and twin toddlers playing in the backyard, hiking, camping, and going on bike rides. I also enjoy quilting, reading books, and playing soccer.
